Eleanor Estes's "The Hundred Dresses" offers such a touching and meaning learning opportunity for it's readers.  There are discussion guides available as well as complete unit studies.  Check them out before coming to see the show!

​NEWS RELEASE FROM THE PEACOCK CHILDREN’S THEATRE     March 30, 2016
    Peacock Children’s Theatre, (non-profit 501-c-3) by and for children will present their adaptation of several Aesop Fables on April 8 at 12:30 and 1:30 at the Corydon Elementary School for approximately 600 students and teachers.  PCT will continue offering Aesop’s Fables as a touring program for schools and organizations.  Minimal props and costumes will be used to illustrate how easy it is to put on a play in a class room or at home by using your imagination.  The audience will participate by using their imagination to create sound effects and sing “If You’re Happy and You Know it” and “Row, Row, Your Boat”.
     An ensemble of 10 actors ages from 7 to 13 and pianist, Anna Walerczak will present the following Aesop Fables again at Hillview Christian Church, Marengo on April 29 at 7 PM.
“The Ant and the Grasshopper” played by Annie Reese and Will Bauer and ensemble,
“The Country Mouse and the City Mouse” played by Samantha Carkuff and Chelsie Mundy and ensemble, “The Dog and the Shadow” by Sam Bauer and Griffin Walerczak, “The Lion and the Mouse played by Keileigh McWhorter and Allison Walerczak and ensemble, “The Cat and the Birds” played by Sabastian Church, Griffin Walerczak, Alayna Embry and Sam Bauer, “The Tortoise and the Hare” played by Natalie Walerczak and Will Bauer and ensemble and “Juno, and the Nightingale and the Peacock” played by Natalie Walerczak, Keileigh McWhorter and Samantha Carkuff.  The production was directed by Founder/Artistic Director Rita Harden and Assistant Director Amy Bauer.
     Tickets may be purchased at the door 30 minutes prior to show time at the Hillview Christian Church, 4180 E. State Road 64, Marengo.  Tickets for children are $5 and adults $7.  Children 5 and younger are FREE.  Light refreshments will be available.
